“Postscriptum” educators' club

Short description:

In the course of their professional activity, immense experience is demanded of educators, psychologists, and the administrative workers at educational institutions – not only in interacting with children – but also in vital life skills: how to cope with stress, how to avoid tiredness, to find interest in daily routine, and time management...  These and many other themes are covered in the monthly educators' club that will soon begin its work at the Tolerance Centre.  At club meetings, participants can relax, chat and gain useful skills to improve their lives and work.  Because everyone who deals with children needs first of all to care about and be attentive to themselves.  “P.S.” or “Postscriptum” is the name chosen because the club is held after the close of the working day, once a month.  “P.S.” because of the useful psychological skills participants will gain.  And, finally, in reverse, “S.P” stands for “Super Pedagogue.”   

Aims:

• The improvement of the psychological state of workers in educational organisations
• The transmission of skills in working with emotional and professional burnout, time and stress management 
• Fostering communication and the exchange of experience between pedagogues and specialists from different educational institutions.

Target groups: educators, psychologists, administrative workers at educational institutions, deputy directors in educational work, youth leaders, and teaching staff with organisational functions.
